SSH terminal
SSH can be used over wired ethernet and/or Wi-Fi connection. Independent the type of connection, it is important to know the IP address of the controller.
Using the SSH terminal
For this example we use the wired ethernet connection. We discovered that the IP address of the controller was: 192.168.1.16 We will use PuTTY to login to the controller using SSH.

- Provide your IP address : 192.168.1.16
- Select Connection type: SSH
- Select port to 22 (set by default)
- Click Open to initiate the SSH connection

- Login: root (followed by enter)
- Password: root (followed by enter)

You are now logged on to the controller. From this point, you are able to use all kind of GOcontroll services and Linux packages which are installed on the controller.
