Wiring essentials

The GOcontroll Moduline modular embedded controllers use TE-Connectivity Superseal 1.0 mm connectors, which perfectly complement the ruggedness of these controllers. The Superseal 1.0 system supports compact, sealed wire-to-board connections rated up to 15 A, making it well suited for harsh environments.

From a wiring-basics perspective, assembly follows TE’s recommended procedure: first, you strip the wire, then crimp a Superseal terminal (a stamped-and-formed receptacle) onto the conductor.
You must use the correct tooling and apply the crimping specification from TE’s application spec (e.g. 114-78011), as referenced in the GOcontroll design documentation.
After crimping, insert each terminal into the connector housing until the locking feature (secondary lock / TPA) engages, ensuring proper retention per TE’s 411-78017 instruction sheet.

This process ensures a secure, vibration-resistant, and sealed connection that matches the rugged design philosophy of the GOcontroll Moduline controllers.
