GOcontroll remains a close-knit company with a hands-on approach. Customers work directly with people who understand the technology, the challenges and the practical requirements behind their applications.
From the first technical discussion and prototype to testing, implementation and further development, GOcontroll values clear communication, flexibility and long-term cooperation.

What started as a hobby project in 2008 has grown into a company developing programmable, modular controllers for vehicles, mobile machinery, electrification systems and innovative engineering applications.
At GOcontroll, technology has always been driven by curiosity, practical challenges and the ambition to create solutions that truly make a difference.
Today, that same passion connects a dedicated team, long-standing customer relationships and a growing family of Moduline controllers.
How it all started
Every innovation has a starting point. For GOcontroll, that was a passion for technology.
In 2008, founder Rick Gijsberts began developing electronic controllers as a hobby. Driven by curiosity, he enjoyed experimenting with electronics, exploring new ideas and building solutions that actually worked.
What started as a personal passion gradually developed into something bigger.
In 2011, Rick designed the GOcontroll logo together with his sister. That same year, the first Moduline controller was developed, marking the beginning of GOcontroll as a company.
The idea behind Moduline was straightforward: create flexible, programmable control hardware that engineers could adapt to their specific applications.
That principle has remained at the heart of GOcontroll ever since.
The evolution of Moduline
From one controller to a complete product family.
Technology never stands still. Neither does GOcontroll.
Over the years, customer requirements, new technologies and practical experience have continuously shaped the development of Moduline.
The introduction of Moduline 2 in 2014 brought further technical improvements. In 2017, Moduline 3 introduced a waterproof enclosure for more demanding applications.
A major step forward followed in 2022 with Moduline 4, introducing greater modularity through interchangeable expansion modules and connectivity options such as 4G, GPS and Bluetooth.
But innovation wasn’t always about adding more functionality.
As GOcontroll expanded into new markets and applications, customers also needed smaller and more focused solutions.
This led to the development of the Moduline Mini for compact applications, followed by the HMI1 for integrated visualisation and control, and eventually the compact Moduline S1 for real-time and IoT-focused applications.
Each development was driven by the same ambition: making sophisticated control technology more flexible, accessible and practical.

Not every application needs the same controller.
A custom electric vehicle has different requirements from a hydrogen generator, an agricultural machine or a connected monitoring system.
That’s why GOcontroll develops modular control solutions that can be configured around the application.
With interchangeable I/O modules, flexible communication interfaces and programmable software, engineers can select the hardware capabilities they need and adapt their systems as projects evolve.
