Loadcell Module
The Loadcell Module is a GOcontroll Moduline-compatible expansion card that interfaces directly with load cells and strain-gauge sensors. It provides sensor excitation and per-channel analog-to-digital conversion with selectable gain, turning force, weight or pressure measurements into accurate digital values for the Moduline controller.
Like every Moduline module, it plugs straight into a controller expansion slot and is configured through the GOcontroll platform.
Applications
- Weighing and on-board weight measurement
- Batch weighing and dosing systems
- Silo, tank and hopper content monitoring
- Crane, hoist and lifting load monitoring
- Overload and safe working load protection
- Force and press-force measurement
- Torque measurement
- Tension and compression monitoring
- Pressure measurement with strain-gauge sensors
- Axle and vehicle load measurement
Features
- Four differential load cell inputs for resistive strain-gauge (Wheatstone) bridges
- Two common sensor excitation voltage lines (EXC 1 / EXC 2)
- Analog-to-digital conversion with selectable gain per channel (32, 64 or 128)
- Selectable sample rate per channel (10 or 80 Hz)
- Selectable sensitivity mode per channel (raw, 1, 2 or 3 mV/V)
- Per-channel tare (zero-point) function
- Four channels, each independently configurable
- GOcontroll Moduline compatible (S1, M1, L4 and HMI1)

Pinout Moduline L4
The eight module expansion slots are directed to four connectors in front of the controller. Connector A,B,D and E. If a module is plugged into a specific expansion slot, one half of the corresponding connector is used to interface this module. The picture below gives an overview of the connectors with their related module expansion slots.
The picture below shows the connector pinning from the Loadcell Module. Be aware of the different pinouts when the module is plugged into even or odd module slots.
