Hydroma: a fuel cell running on natural hydrogen.
Hydroma discovered natural hydrogen in Bourakébougou, Mali. Together with H2Consultancy, GOcontroll built a fuel cell system that runs on hydrogen coming directly from the well, to research the potential of natural hydrogen.
After benchmark runs in the Netherlands, the fuel cell control was moved to a Moduline M1 for full control over the control strategy. In May 2023 the system ran stably on natural hydrogen, starting an endurance test of several months in which it supplied the village with energy and was monitored remotely.
