Introduction
GOcontroll adds laser-marked enclosures for lasting identification, improved traceability, and more sustainable lifecycle management.

Permanent identification for lasting reliability
GOcontroll has introduced laser-engraved serial numbering on all newly produced Moduline enclosures. Each enclosure now carries a unique, permanent ID containing both serial and batch information, engraved directly into the metal housing. This marks a key step toward stronger product traceability and more efficient lifecycle management across the Moduline platform.
Why laser marking matters
Laser engraving offers a durable, contactless, and chemical-free way to mark hardware. Unlike printed or adhesive labels, these markings resist heat, abrasion, and cleaning agents — ensuring the ID remains readable throughout the product’s life.
For Moduline controllers used in demanding industrial or automotive environments, this reliability ensures every unit remains identifiable and serviceable, even after years of operation.
Stronger traceability and lifecycle control
Each engraved code connects to GOcontroll’s internal production database, which stores detailed batch, configuration, and test data. This provides instant access to manufacturing history, making service and maintenance faster and more reliable.
For modular systems like the Moduline Mini, IV, and Display, this traceability supports long-term lifecycle management, helping to track revisions, replacements, and firmware compatibility across generations.
Enabling circular and sustainable hardware
Laser-marked enclosures also support GOcontroll’s move toward circular design. Because every housing is uniquely identified, it can be refurbished or upgraded for new electronics while preserving its recorded history.
This reduces waste, supports responsible reuse, and extends product life — aligning with GOcontroll’s commitment to sustainable, future-proof embedded solutions.
Built to last — and ready for the future
This small but powerful change improves every stage of the Moduline lifecycle: from production and quality control to service, reuse, and recycling.
By adopting laser-marked enclosures, GOcontroll strengthens its promise of reliability, transparency, and long-term support — creating embedded controllers that are traceable, durable, and ready for tomorrow’s technology.
Moduline IV linear actuator control delivers precise motion using half-bridge outputs, feedback inputs, and Simulink-based control loops.
Moduline IV enables precise, programmable scent delivery for 5D-Cinema shows, creating reliable and immersive aroma effects.
Moduline Mini I mushroom environment controller enables stable humidity, CO₂, airflow, temperature, and lighting control with Simulink and Node-RED dashboards.
